Pallets in New Jersey, 530 miles from our gate.

Served on scheduled contract carriers rather than our own trailers. Economic for full trailer loads and program volume; less so for small orders.

What ships here

New Jersey, in freight terms.

New Jersey is a port state. The Port of New York and New Jersey moves container volumes that dominate the entire northeast supply chain, and the warehouse belt along the Turnpike from Elizabeth to Exit 8A exists almost entirely to serve it.

For pallets that means two things. First, import container destuffing generates an enormous volume of odd-size and foreign-standard pallets — Euro, 1100×1100 Asian, and a long tail of one-off footprints — which is a sorting and remanufacturing problem more than a supply one. Second, local supply is deep, competitive and physically close to the demand, and for routine weekly stock it will beat us.

Pharmaceutical manufacturing along the I-287 corridor is the segment where distance matters least, because those requirements are about specification and documentation rather than price per unit.

Local economy

The largest port complex on the east coast, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemicals and one of the densest warehouse markets in North America.

What we send there

Remanufacturing of import footprints, heat-treated export stock, documented new builds for pharmaceutical work.

Questions

Buying pallets in New Jersey.

Do you deliver to New Jersey?

Served on scheduled contract carriers rather than our own trailers. Economic for full trailer loads and program volume; less so for small orders.

What is the minimum order into New Jersey?

A full trailer, roughly 330 units, for the freight to make sense. Below that, buy locally — you will be better off.

What footprints move most in New Jersey?

Remanufacturing of import footprints, heat-treated export stock, documented new builds for pharmaceutical work.

Can you quote a custom build here?

Yes, anywhere. Custom and engineered work is quoted from a drawing and shipped as project freight, and the distance economics are completely different from routine stock. See custom builds.
