What we know about Louisville.

Louisville is a straight run south on I-71 and a genuinely unusual pallet market, because Worldport has pulled an enormous amount of time-critical distribution into a relatively small city.

The practical consequence is a lot of demand for export-compliant stock and a lot of pressure on lead times. When someone in Louisville needs pallets, they generally needed them yesterday, which is why we hold buffer stock for programme customers in that lane specifically.

The bourbon industry is its own thing entirely — heavy, wet, and hard on wood. Barrel-related loads want heavy-deck units and we do not pretend a standard GMA will do.
